This is clearly a two horse race. In fact I wouldn’t even classify the Redskins and Giants as horses. Miniature Ponies is more like it considering there isn’t a team over .500 in this division. The Redskins have arguably the easiest remaining schedule and as of today they control their own destiny. With 3 remaining division games they can easily take a strangle hold on this division. The question is, will they? So far this year any time a team has had a chance to really take control they failed and came back to the pack.
NFC East Standings

New York Jets at New York Giants – MetLife Stadium 1:00 CBS
The Giants are New York’s team. Everyone knows it. This game means more to the Jets than it does the Giants in terms of the battle for New York. Both teams are thick in the middle of a play off race in their respective conferences. I expect this to be a back and forth game. The Jets are coming off an impressive win with Fitzpatrick finally getting back on track. The Giants are coming off a dismal performance against the Skins’. A game in which they surrounded the lead in the East.
I expect this game to be close however both these teams are trending in opposite directions. The Jets on the upward trend with a chance to grab the headlines will have the edge. The Jets have the personnel on defense to handle the Giants and I don’t believe the Giants have the personnel to handle the Jets on Offense.
Dallas at Washington – FedEx Field 8:30 MNF ESPN
The Redskins are currently sitting at the top of the mountain, for now. As stated before they have the easiest remaining schedule. They face a banged up Cowboys team who lost their starting QB for the second time. The Cowboys are mentally and physically toast to be honest. I expect the Skins to win this game by 2 scores.
The Redskins are clicking on offense and defense. They might be also be getting a nice boost on special teams. Per reports, Desean Jackson will now help in the return game.
